Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing production support to booking, first hour, second hour, or field and series teams.
• Collaborating with producers and attending editorial meetings.
• Supporting staff by answering phones, attending meetings, booking guests, writing scripts, and producing taped content.
• Researching topics using various sources.
• Handling mail and providing additional support functions.

About You:

Candidates should possess the following:

• Experience with multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in collaborative settings and research.
• Familiarity or interest in journalism or news writing.
• Knowledge or interest in GMA’s daily show.
• Previous experience in journalism, television production, or news media is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
• Major or coursework in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related fields.
• Junior or Senior year preferred.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university or participating in a Disney program.
• Must be at least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization.

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Select benefits may include medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position.

Training & Development:

Interns will have opportunities to collaborate with producers and learn the inner workings of a top-rated morning show.
