Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide thorough evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, establish diagnoses, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Treatment Planning and Management: Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive treatment plans, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, or other modalities.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and personalized patient care.
- Clinical Research: Participate in clinical research activities, including enrollment of eligible patients in clinical trials, data collection, and dissemination of research findings.
- Teaching and Mentoring: Serve as a clinical educator and mentor to medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution and credentials that merit appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
- Fellowship training in hematology/medical oncology.
- A Florida medical license or eligibility for Florida licensure.
- Board eligibility/certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty area of medical oncology.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in hematology and medical oncology.
