About the Role: Data Entry Specialist - Medicare Appeals and Patient-Provider Dispute Resolutions

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our dedicated team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in handling Medicare Appeals and Patient-Provider Dispute Resolutions, contributing to our mission of enhancing billing transparency for healthcare services. This is a full-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Ensure precise data entry from internal systems into the IDR Portal, maintaining a keen eye for inconsistencies and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Upload all pertinent case file documents accurately, contributing to the thoroughness and reliability of our data management efforts.
  • Quality Control: Regularly review and correct data as needed, based on comprehensive reports, to uphold our standard of data integrity.
  • Support Duties: Assist with various clerical tasks such as printing, mailing, faxing notices, and performing imaging and indexing activities, as required.

What We Expect:

  • Accuracy and Diligence: Achieve data quality scores of 98% or greater and meet timeliness goals with 99% accuracy.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in medical data entry, preferably with exposure to CMS or large insurance companies.
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Residency Requirement: Must have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the past 5 years, as this position is part of a Federal Contract.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Foundational Knowledge: Understand basic laws, regulations, customer service principles, and office procedures.
  • Data Entry Proficiency: Exhibit a high level of accuracy in data entry and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to articulate clearly and work harmoniously with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Show flexibility to meet the evolving needs of our team and clients while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.
