About the Position
The Applications Developer I/II will play a vital role in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting moderately complex systems or modules of larger scale, more complex systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, and object-oriented design, as well as developing web solutions using Java or .NET. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain computer applications, including coding, debugging, and documentation
- Perform full life cycle responsibilities for assigned applications, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve the Court's technology solutions
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) experience performing coding, testing, debugging, basic design, and documentation of computer applications (Applications Developer I)
- Three (3) years of full-time (or equivalent) experience in applications design and development (Applications Developer II)
Desirable Experience
The following experience is highly desirable for this role:
- Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming
- Experience with Oracle 12c or higher
- Experience with object-oriented design and developing web solutions (Java/.NET)
- Experience with data modeling
