Job Summary

As a remote Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Physician with our team, you will provide real-time remote consultation for surgical cases being monitored by our clinical neuromonitoring team. You will conduct remote interpretation via a secure connection into the operating room, allowing for real-time communication between Neurologists and onsite clinicians. We provide orientation and training to ensure that you successfully fulfill the role of a remote physician for our clinical neuromonitoring staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time remote consultation for surgical cases being monitored by the clinical neuromonitoring team
  • Conduct remote interpretation via a secure connection into the operating room
  • Communicate effectively with onsite clinicians and surgeons in real-time
  • Participate in shared night and weekend call rotations
  • Collaborate with our team of board-certified Neurologists to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Medical License
  • ABPN Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with IONM technology and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
