Aviation Insurance Broker – Sales & Strategic Accounts ( GA ) (Remote)
Confidential • Remote (US)
Lead expansion in general aviation—flight schools, light aircraft owners, and private jets—at a fast-moving, tech-forward insurance platform.
This isn’t just another brokerage role—you’ll be building something new in an underserved market with significant growth potential. You’ll leverage modern tools, a strong brand, and operational support to outpace traditional brokerages. Build new distribution, land strategic partners, and create net-new revenue from day one.
Why This Role
• Build something new – Open underpenetrated general aviation channels and craft partnerships that deliver results quickly—not years down the road.
• Seat at the table – Work directly with senior leadership; your market insight will influence product direction, underwriting priorities, and growth strategy.
• Measure what matters – Success is defined by net-new revenue and strategic wins—distribution partners, carrier access, and marquee accounts.
What You’ll Do
• Open new distribution channels leveraging your general aviation relationships.
• Prospect and close fleet & facility policies for flight schools and operators.
• Expand into private jet and owner-operator segments; develop strategic accounts.
• Bring carrier relationships that unlock competitive terms and capacity.
• Represent the brand at major aviation events such as EAA AirVenture, Sun 'n Fun, and NBAA, as well as other relevant industry gatherings.
What Success Looks Like in Year 1
• Significant net-new premium from general aviation accounts.
• At least one new distribution partner producing active pipeline.
• Documented renewal calendars and a robust target account list.
• Early wins in flight school fleet and light aircraft owner markets.
• Strong carrier relationships delivering better terms and capacity.
What You Bring
• 5–15 years in aviation insurance brokerage with proven general aviation relationships.
• Track record of opening new accounts and building distribution channels.
• Existing carrier relationships and underwriting expertise.
• Comfort with technology platforms and data-driven sales approaches.
• East Coast location preferred (for time zone and travel efficiency), but open to exceptional candidates nationwide.
Compensation & Support
• Competitive base + commission tied to new business production.
• Equity participation for the right candidate.
• Modern tech stack, marketing resources, and operational support to accelerate your impact.
• Fully remote, with occasional travel for events, client meetings, and team gatherings.
If you’re ready to combine your aviation expertise with the agility of a fast-moving, innovation-driven company—and see the direct results of your work—this is your opportunity.
