[Remote] Remote Public Relations/Social Media Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The deFIANT is a hybrid agency focused on innovative marketing and communications. They are seeking a Public Relations/Social Media Intern who will support daily tasks and operations, gain hands-on experience in PR, branding, and influencer relations, and assist with various responsibilities such as media preparation and research. Responsibilities • Support the preparation and distribution of media materials • Assist in conducting research for clients • Aid in planning and/or attending client events • Help organize and file documents via Google Drive and Dropbox • Assist with media and influencer monitoring • Build and update media lists and databases • Social Media Planning & Strategy • Use CapCut or Similar Platform Skills • Available to start ASAP • Must be available 2-3 days a week (at minimum) from 9 AM-4 PM • Personal laptop required • Passion to learn about the PR industry • Excellent writing, editing, organizational and interpersonal communication skills • Knowledge of social platforms including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube • Working knowledge of OS X and Google Suite • Ability to multi-task and remain organized • Responsible for timely completion of work • Professional appearance and conduct • Journalism, communications, advertising or public relations major or concentration preferred, but not required Education Requirements • Must be in the process of earning a degree (AA,BA,MA) from an accredited two or four year college or university (full-time or part-time enrollment) OR possess a strong desire to gain experience in this industry from working professionals Company Overview • The deFIANT offers DeFi news, celebrity marketing, and social media management services.
