Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A truck on a dedicated home daily route, transporting refrigerated freight with some non-perishable items
• Work on a night shift schedule, Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight, with no touch freight handling
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including logs and delivery documentation
• Participate in regular safety and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Collaborate with dispatch and other drivers to ensure efficient and effective route planning and execution

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid CDL A license with a good driving record
• Must live within 40 miles of Fort Ogden, FL 33982
• Ability to speak, write, and read English
• 10 years of work/school history required on application
• No more than 3 truck driving jobs in the last 12 months
• All CDL-A experience must be verifiable
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
• No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
• No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
• No DUI/DWI within the past 10 years
• No SAP drivers on this account

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with refrigerated freight and non-perishable items
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

As a CDL A truck driver with DriveTime Transports, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

• Average weekly pay of $1300
• $10 per stop, with 2-3 stops per day
• $30 for loads under 90 miles
• Additional $.04 cpm safety and performance bonus, paid monthly
