Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Senior Data Engineer at Aetna, you will need: • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering. • 2+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing data architectures and pipelines. • 2+ years of experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling. • 2+ years of experience with Python, with a strong proficiency in programming languages and software development. • Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure), with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and migration strategies. • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
