Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced part-time economics tutors to support students in ECON 302 Intermediate Microeconomics Analysis and ECON 304 Intermediate Macroeconomics Analysis. As a part-time economics tutor, you will work remotely and provide individualized support to students, helping them to understand complex economic concepts and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring support to students in ECON 302 Intermediate Microeconomics Analysis and ECON 304 Intermediate Macroeconomics Analysis
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and study materials to support student learning
  • Assess student understanding and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Collaborate with faculty and other tutors to ensure consistency and quality of tutoring support
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance tutoring skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A strong background in economics, with a focus on intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomics analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching economics, preferably at the undergraduate level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and faculty

  • A bachelor's degree in economics or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in economics or a related field
