Full Stack – Senior Rails Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and maintain Ruby on Rails applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using the API first paradigm to design and implement APIs
• Make sure the application delivers high performance, stability, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing and troubleshooting.
• Support and mentor team members while encouraging collaboration and continuous learning.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and reliability.
• Proactively identify and fix issues impacting speed, security, or system efficiency

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience (working with Ruby on Rails).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (such as PostgreSQL and MySQL) and experience with database design and optimization.
• Understanding of background job processing systems
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Strong experience or solid knowledge with frontend technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js
• Advanced English level (B2 or higher).

This is a fully remote position open to candidates across Latin America.
