Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative role at blithequark is a vital part of our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for receiving calls from child support client stakeholders, categorizing calls, recording abusive and/or extraordinary calls, and performing other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities

  • Possess strong oral and written communications skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy to resolve customer complaints and provide solutions
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and document customer interactions
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, assess, and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers where applicable
  • Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of prior experience in an area of customer service, call center, service delivery, or other related fields
  • Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Availability to work from 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • A private area to work and space to set up equipment, with a high-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or call center environment
  • Knowledge of child support services or human services operations
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or other customer service tools
