Role Overview

As a Procurement & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for leading our procurement and logistics functions, optimizing our supply chain operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services. You will be a strategic partner to our business, providing expert guidance and support to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, driving cost savings and process improvements.
  • Source and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships that foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Monitor market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement innovative procurement practices that drive value and efficiency.
  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication, driving business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize stock holding to minimize carrying costs while meeting demand, leveraging data analysis and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary, driving continuous improvement and supplier development.
  • Lead a team of procurement and logistics professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and development.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation in procurement and logistics.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (X+ years) in procurement and logistics management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools to optimize processes and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective vendor and team management.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
