We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks or vans for the transportation of goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Assist with moving items within the warehouse as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably with box trucks or vans.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe handling of cargo.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
