EKG Monitor Technician

About the position The EKG Monitor Technician role at inSync Staffing involves monitoring and analyzing ECG transmissions in a telemetry service center. The technician will provide technical ECG data analysis, generate reports for physician review, and ensure quality standards are met in ECG readings. This position requires a local candidate due to hybrid work eligibility and offers various shifts, including 5/8s or 4/10s, with a focus on customer service and communication of critical findings. Responsibilities • Monitor and analyze ECG transmissions in a telemetry service center. • Provide technical ECG data analysis and generate reports for physician review. • Maintain clinical knowledge on ECG rhythm interpretation and ensure all ECG readings meet quality standards. • Communicate critical ECG findings to appropriate personnel and assist in emergency activation when necessary. • Use a customer-focused approach when handling incoming calls from patients. • Adhere to departmental policies and perform additional tasks as required. Requirements • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in EKG monitoring. • CRAT/CCT certification preferred, or RN/Paramedic/EMT with ACLS certification. • Robust knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Office. • Ability to adapt to an online training environment.
