The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Part-Time Dance Instructor/Choreographer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a DivaDance instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach clients original choreography to popular songs, create a fun and engaging class environment, and be part of a growing, values-driven franchise organization. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for dance, teaching, and empowering others.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach 1-2 classes per week, mostly in the evenings and possibly on weekends, at our studio located at 11035 Philips Highway Jacksonville, FL 32256
• Develop and teach original choreography to popular songs, following our consistent DivaDance format
• Provide a fun, engaging, and supportive class environment for clients of all levels
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management via phone, text, and email
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Essential Qualifications

• Experience teaching and choreographing for adults, preferably with a background in dance team, drill team, or cheerleading
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients of all levels and backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to scheduling and teaching
• Passion for dance, teaching, and empowering others, with a commitment to creating a fun and inclusive class environment
• Reliable transportation to and from the studio for classes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with choreography development and teaching, preferably with a focus on pop-music inspired dance
• Background in dance education or a related field, with a strong understanding of dance technique and pedagogy
• Ability to create engaging and challenging choreography for clients of all levels
• Experience with social media and online platforms, with a strong understanding of how to promote classes and engage with clients online
