Tax Preparer Associate (Independent)
We are seeking motivated Tax Preparer Associates to join our team for the upcoming tax season. No prior experience is required — training is available — but prior tax preparation experience is a plus. This is a commission-based, independent contractor role, ideal for individuals who want to start or expand their career in tax preparation.
Requirements:
• Must have a valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) or be willing to obtain one
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Ability to bring in or build your own client base
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file individual and/or business tax returns
• Provide excellent service to clients with accuracy and confidentiality
• Advise clients on basic tax deductions, credits, and compliance (training provided)
• Stay up to date with tax requirements and deadlines
