Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient entry of data into our systems, as well as providing support to our internal clients and stakeholders. This is an entry-level opportunity, and we welcome applications from candidates with no prior experience. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners and teams to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to support business needs
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients
- Design and develop applications for internal clients
- Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, ensure data integrity and suitability, and determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods
- Turn data into actionable insights through reporting solutions
- Troubleshoot technical issues and problems
- Present analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas:
- Experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.)
- Experience with Excel and Visual Basic for Applications
- Experience with reporting platforms – SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Development programming languages/knowledge/experience – ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
- Development database languages/knowledge/experience – Transact SQL
- Database knowledge/experience – MS SQL Server
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with reporting platforms – WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of blithequark systems, databases, and underlying information structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database knowledge/experience – Hadoop, Oracle
- Development database languages/knowledge/experience – Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience
