About the Role

We are excited to announce the opening of a new office in the Niagara region, focused on Customer Experience, and we invite you to join our team as a part-time Customer Care Representative. As a key member of our Customer Care team, you will be responsible for handling customer interactions, providing timely and effective solutions, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain mass market billing accounts, including call handling, billing inquiries, collections, moves, and investigations of billing exceptions/disputes.
  • Operate according to performance standards and expectations to ensure customer service quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Complete accurate and thorough processes, procedures, and follow-up for various customer account types.
  • Respond to customer communications, including letters, mail, faxes, emails, chat, and inter-department inquiries.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity levels in accordance with operational targets.
  • Complete other tasks and activities as business needs dictate, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of clerical and customer contact experience.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical skills, decision-making ability, negotiations, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, complete a variety of tasks concurrently, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function within a team.
  • Ability to plan and use time effectively, with flexibility regarding shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are considered assets:

  • Mass market billing experience.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Bilingualism.
  • Knowledge of Customer Information Systems, including SAP and Kubra.
