Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Community Health RN, you will deliver comprehensive acute care services in a home setting, adhering to Amedisys clinical standards and state regulations. Your daily activities will include, but are not limited to:
- Initial Patient Onboarding: Conduct thorough nursing assessments, medication reconciliation, safety checks, and implement standardized Hospital‑at‑Home protocols.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed therapies—including intravenous medications—monitor therapeutic responses, and document all administration details accurately.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Perform skilled procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, Foley catheter insertion, wound care, and respiratory support.
