Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst II to join our blithequark Data Ventures team. As a Data Analyst II, you will play a critical role in analyzing, gathering, and interpreting customer data, transforming raw insights into actionable recommendations that drive our business strategies. You will be the creative force behind customer-driven dashboards that capture key performance metrics, supporting our product teams in their decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, gather, and analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform our business strategies
• Develop and maintain customer-driven dashboards that capture key performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making across our product teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Ventures, Digital Citizenship, Global Tech, and product teams, to analyze, assess, and provide insights on customer behavior and preferences
• Work closely with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process accurate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and drive business growth

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Math, Arts, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations and decisions
• Experience with languages used to manipulate and analyze large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.)
• Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Related industry experience (e.g., retail, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce)
• Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Flash, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau)
• Experience with data quality tools like Google DataPlex (Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server)
• Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca
