Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Sales and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting products and services, and ensuring seamless operations in our retail environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner, determining their needs and identifying opportunities to exceed their expectations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through active engagement, quality product delivery, and timely resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by blithequark, promoting them effectively to customers and identifying additional services that may benefit them.
  • Receive, sort, and place mail in mailboxes accurately, ensuring efficient mail management and distribution.
  • Record all sales transactions completely and accurately in our Point of Sale system, maintaining precise financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products, ensuring safe and secure packaging and timely dispatch.
  • Receive and prepare documents for printing, operating various software packages and office machines with proficiency and efficiency.
  • Process and document damaged shipments, late and lost package claims, and other customer service issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in merchandising the store, including stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and orderly appearance, and informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies.
  • Perform end-of-day duties, including reconciliation of cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, and all other transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy and procedure.
  • Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and other office machines safely and efficiently, providing assistance to customers as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, performing general housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned.
