About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers daily and providing them with a world-class shopping experience. You will be responsible for greeting customers, operating the register, making purchase suggestions, and working with our food program. You will also be expected to maintain our high standards for store appearance and provide fast and friendly service to our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide them with a warm and welcoming shopping experience
• Operate the register, process transactions, and handle customer payments
• Make purchase suggestions and recommendations to customers
• Work with our food program to provide customers with a variety of options
• Maintain our high standards for store appearance and ensure that the store is clean and well-organized
• Provide fast and friendly service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise
• Work as part of a team to accomplish daily tasks and goals
• Come up with creative solutions to problems and think on your feet

Essential Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
• Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail and customer service experience
• Sales associate or cashiering experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Motivation to advance in your career and grow with our company
• Willingness to learn and have fun in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
