In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts within the medical billing sector. You will leverage your expertise in medical billing, coding, and collections to identify new opportunities and foster relationships with healthcare providers. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems to effectively communicate the value of our services. Duties • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the medical billing industry. • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring a clear understanding of their billing needs. • Utilize knowledge of DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and other coding systems to provide accurate information to clients. • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our medical billing services to potential clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and effective service delivery. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical billing and coding. • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using EMR or EHR systems. Experience • Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or collections is essential. • Familiarity with DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and other relevant coding practices. • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. • Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical records management. • Proficiency in using EMR or EHR systems for documentation and reporting purposes. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients. • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
