Job Overview: Chat Associate (Global)

We're seeking an experienced Chat Associate to join our Worker Operations Team, where you'll play a vital role in upholding safety and reliability for both sides of our marketplace. As a Chat Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, investigating incidents, and developing reliability initiatives to improve the overall quality of our marketplace. Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via telephone, live chat, and web communication channels to resolve inquiries and issues
  • Investigate attendance and quality incidents across our marketplace, using exceptional judgment and noticing to solve customer problems
  • Develop and communicate resolutions to workers and workplaces with empathetic, customer-centered communication, justifying the reasoning behind your decisions to diverse stakeholders
  • Work efficiently and effectively to ensure customer inquiries are resolved fully and in a timely manner, prioritizing customer satisfaction and experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer support, general operations, product, customer success, and legal teams, to drive business outcomes and improve the overall quality of our marketplace
  • Manage and maintain communication on multiple platforms to effectively solve issues for blithequark's partner facilities and professionals
  • Remain knowledgeable on product updates to ensure you're acting with the most up-to-date organizational information, and provide feedback to improve our products and services

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (first language)
  • 2+ years of customer support experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • 2+ years of providing telephonic customer support, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years of experience with Zendesk or any CRM, with the ability to navigate and utilize technology to drive business outcomes
  • Ability to resolve customer issues with empathy and action, prioritizing customer satisfaction and experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work as part of multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes
  • Comfortable handling ambiguous situations and adaptable to constant change, with a positive mindset that elevates the entire team
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, self-direction, and initiative to achieve the goals of the team and organization
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer experiences
