YouTube Video Editor (Full-Time, Remote/Global)

<p>Seeking an experienced, remote, full-time video editor for work editing long-form and short-form YouTube and social media videos, as well as online course content in the international travel and relocation industries.</p> <p><strong>You are a good fit for this position if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have 3+ years of professional editing experience and experience editing for YouTube channels (preferably in travel, lifestyle, or documentary niches)</li> <li>Understand YouTube storytelling (hooks, retention, pacing, and emotional payoff)</li> <li>Are fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus) or Final Cut Pro</li> <li>Have a natural sense of music choice, color, rhythm, and tone</li> <li>Possess a <u>strong</u> attention to detail</li> <li>Thrive in a remote, collaborative environment with multiple projects</li> <li>Are detail-oriented, organized, self-managed, and reliable with deadlines</li> <li>Are passionate about travel, culture, and creative storytelling</li> <li>Bonus: Have experience with graphic design and thumbnails</li> </ul> <h4>Job Responsibilities:</h4> <ul> <li>Edit 3+ high-quality YouTube videos per week (8–30 minutes each), plus Reels and Shorts</li> <li>Craft engaging hooks, pacing, and retention moments to maximize watch time</li> <li>Incorporate b-roll, maps, stock footage, motion graphics, and captions where needed</li> <li>Maintain and evolve the visual identity and style of the channel</li> <li>Add music and sound design that complement the tone of each video</li> <li>Collaborate with Kristin (on-camera host/creator) to execute storylines</li> <li>Organize and manage footage, project files, and assets in Google Drive</li> <li>Deliver on time and proactively communicate about timelines and feedback</li> </ul> <h4>Additional Requirements:</h4> <ul> <li>Portfolio or links to YouTube videos you’ve edited (required)</li> <li>Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week), Monday–Friday</li> <li>Fast and stable internet connection</li> <li>Experience with Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar tools</li> <li>Fluent in English (spoken and written)</li> </ul> <h4>Compensation & Perks:</h4> <ul> <li>Competitive monthly salary based on experience</li> <li>Long-term, stable position with room to grow</li> <li>Creative freedom and input on storytelling and style</li> <li>Fully Remote - Work from anywhere in the world</li> <li>Opportunities for bonuses and advancement as the channel grows</li> </ul> <blockquote> <p><strong>Note:</strong> While this is a fully remote role, we’re prioritizing candidates based in Eastern Europe or nearby regions for time zone alignment and collaboration.
