Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to handle inbound telephone requests in our call center located in Mendota Heights, MN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering calls, gathering information, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and follow scripted questions to gather information from callers
  • Data enter information into a ticket format and identify work sites on a mapping system similar to Google Maps
  • Communicate effectively and create positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management
  • Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times and demonstrate an interest in public safety
  • Work effectively and independently in a home or office environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
  • General computer skills
  • Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance
  • Ability to work as a team and be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
  • Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to accurately read digital maps
  • Experience working in a call center environment
