About the Role

As a Remote Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support to our clients' website visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to chat online with customers, answer their questions, and provide accurate assistance in real-time. You will be working closely with our Online Chat Manager and will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and patience in your interactions with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Build relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
  • Promote interest in blithequark's products and services
  • Consistently achieve established standards of the position
  • Continually portray and project a positive and professional image
  • Provide administrative support to the customer service team
  • Assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a larger team-oriented environment. Additionally, you will need to have:

  • Strong PC keyboarding and internet experience
  • Articulate and well-accomplished written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic technical skills, including the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications
  • A professional demeanor and a positive, empathetic personality
  • The ability to compose professional emails and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
