About the Position

The Third Shift Customer Solutions Representative role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service to our diverse range of clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support over the phone, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, and dispatching calls to technicians. This role requires a commitment to providing outstanding service, maintaining effective communication with customers and technicians, and working efficiently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls to schedule jobs and handle customer service inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Initiate outbound phone calls for scheduling service calls, ensuring timely and efficient communication with customers
  • Handle various customer inquiries and requests efficiently and accurately, utilizing strong problem-solving skills
  • Dispatch the correct technician to each job based on qualifications, geography, and customer preference, utilizing Service Titan and ClearPath software
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding estimated arrival times and technician details, ensuring transparency and excellent customer experience
  • Communicate with technicians regarding availability and expected completion times, ensuring seamless coordination and effective time management
  • Ensure accuracy of details on all scheduled calls, maintaining attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties as requested by supervisors and managers, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
  • Interact with service technicians and various customers from residential to commercial, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Other duties as assigned, showcasing ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a customer service environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
  • Must live in Illinois and be able to reliably commute to McHenry, IL for training (note: this is a one-time requirement, and the role is fully remote thereafter)
  • Previous dispatch experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
  • Plumbing, Electric & HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
  • Attention to detail, with ability to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities, showcasing adaptability and resilience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new software and systems quickly
  • Ability to work from home efficiently, with reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace
  • Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends, with flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and priorities

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:

  • Previous dispatch experience, with knowledge of Service Titan and ClearPath software
  • Plumbing, Electric & HVAC experience, with understanding of technical terminology and concepts
