The Nurse Educator/Nurse Educator Associate-Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the development and/or implementation of the nursing programs including, curriculum, policies, student advising, student evaluation, mentoring, and collaborating with other nurse educators, nurse educator associates, and Administration. This position involves clinical coordination and clinical instruction at various clinical sites in Oregon and at the Umpqua Community College campus in Roseburg, Oregon. Roseburg has live-ability, a friendly feel and is ready to be home to your next career and family adventure. • Hold at least a master's degree in nursing. • Have the equivalent of a minimum of two years of full-time patient care experience at the registered nurse level. • Document competency in teaching through experience, educational preparation, or continuing education. • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license. • Maintain current knowledge of nursing practice for the registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, and nursing assistant. • Be academically and experientially qualified for the level of appointment. • Successful completion of a criminal history clearance. • Successful completion of a healthcare drug screening. • Current Healthcare Provider BLS card by start date. • Immunizations as outlined by the Oregon Health Authority. • Proficiency with instructional and industry technology within 6 months (i.e., word processing, e-mail, learning management system, digital and social media, zoom and other online meeting platforms). • Stong organizational and communication skills.
