Job Overview

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our clients' customers, resolving questions and complaints concerning their accounts. You will utilize your customer service experience, passion, and creativity to meet their needs and deliver a world-class experience across every interaction. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from customers/clients with questions concerning and/or related to their account, with an average of 40 to 50 calls expected daily.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries by utilizing information learned during training and resources available through people, customer records, and knowledge management systems.
  • Identify customer needs to ensure the customer is provided complete and accurate information.
  • Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints and difficult situations in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Process required transactions via web-based applications.
  • Submit research requests in a concise yet accurate manner.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of blithequark and client programs, policies, and technology.
  • Communicate effectively in a warm and empathetic manner, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported.
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements and laws to ensure information is disseminated only to authorized individuals.
  • Provide support to other positions/operations in cases of heavy workloads or absences.

What We Offer

  • Full-time employment with a competitive hourly rate of $14.00, starting on day one.
  • A shift differential of $1.00 per hour and a weekend shift differential of $1.50 per hour.
  • An incentive plan that provides the opportunity to earn up to an additional $350 a month, contingent upon meeting all metrics (call quality, attendance, and schedule adherence) after training.
  • Paid training, scheduled Monday-Friday, with open availability.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of minimum experience in a call center, customer service, and/or dispatcher experience.
  • Customer service experience and a passion for helping people.
  • Working knowledge of computer and Windows personal computer applications.
  • The ability to successfully pass a background check, credit check, and security clearance (fingerprints).
  • Compliance with camera requirements when attending meetings and training.
  • Verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection).

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • 1+ years of previous call center experience.
