About the Role

We're currently seeking a Part Time Mandarin-Speaking Customer Service Agent to join our team, working 20 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday. As the frontline ambassador of our commitment to exceptional customer service, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that every customer interaction exceeds expectations. Whether assisting with account sign-ups, resolving in-game issues, or providing guidance on promotions and bonuses, you'll be the face of our brand, delivering personalized support to our Mandarin-speaking customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate product and service information, resolving issues, and offering guidance on promotions and bonuses
  • Assist with customer calls for all Mandarin-speaking customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of queries and concerns
  • Partner with cross-functional departments (retail, marketing, tech, etc.) to effectively resolve customer concerns and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed-upon KPIs and performance targets, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
  • Engage in continuous learning through hands-on training with fellow agents, leads, and management to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Clearly explain the terms, conditions, promotions, and bonusing of the casino gaming site to customers, ensuring transparency and understanding
  • Provide comprehensive information to customers regarding their account and transactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Evaluate accounts to identify potential AML/Fraud violations based on deposit, withdrawal, and play transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Recognize problem gambling signs and assist customers by providing information and resources to get them the necessary support, demonstrating a commitment to responsible gaming practices
  • Maintain accurate customer records by updating account information as needed, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Process customer adjustments to maintain precise financial accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
  • Recommend potential products or services to management based on customer information and needs analysis, contributing to the development of new and innovative solutions
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing relevant customer data, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
  • Contribute to overall team success by accomplishing related tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues and the organization as a whole

Essential Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced call center strongly preferred, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Calm and patient demeanor when handling complaints and difficult situations, with a commitment to de-escalating conflicts and resolving issues efficiently
  • Commitment to high standards, initiative, proactivity, and professionalism, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to type and communicate on the phone for extended periods, with a high level of comfort using technology and software applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the iGaming or gaming industry, with a strong understanding of real money and social casino gaming experiences
  • Knowledge of AML/Fraud regulations and responsible gaming practices, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a distributed team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to analyze complex customer issues and develop effective solutions
