Job Overview

As a Customer Onboarding Manager at blithequark, you will play a critical role in getting customers live with our products and services, both for new and existing clients. You will lead customers through a tailored implementation plan, ensuring they quickly realize the benefits of our products. You will manage complex projects, facilitate strategic customer conversations, and collaborate cross-functionally to set up customers for success. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and energetic attitude, with a desire to be a key player on a high-profile, solutions-oriented team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding and implementation process for individual customers, setting them up for a successful long-term partnership

  • Understand how companies leverage different translation methods and tools and how our technology works cohesively with their tech stack

  • Serve as the customer’s project manager during the onboarding process, working closely with key and/or executive-level stakeholders across the organization

  • Teach and empower new customers to get the most value out of the blithequark platform

  • Troubleshoot challenges that customers experience as they set up the system

  • Project manage new use cases for existing customers (new departments, markets, and/or platform integrations)

  • Interface with internal blithequark teams, including Support, Engineering, and Product Management, to effectively integrate customers with our software

  • Keep projects on track: escalate issues that block a successful launch and rally either the customer or internal teams at blithequark to deliver on time

  • Become a subject matter expert on blithequark’s product capabilities and implementation process, providing input into the implementation process for new product launches

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience, with at least one year in client-facing software implementation or account management at a SaaS company

  • Proven success in project managing implementations on time and within scope

  • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues and maintain strong customer relationships

  • This job requires fluency in Japanese and a working proficiency in English

  • Solutions-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Language AI technology or similar innovative solutions

  • Knowledge of the Asia Pacific and Japan region, with a deep understanding of the local market and customer needs

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide insights to stakeholders
