About the position Responsibilities • Fact-check article drafts • Copy edit manuscripts for tone and accuracy • Incorporate corrections and feedback from our medical review team • Adhere to MyHealthTeam house style and Associated Press (AP) Stylebook guidelines • Learn about a variety of health conditions • Help readers find reliable medical information to better manage their health Requirements • At least five years of professional copy editing experience • Proficient in AP style • Comfortable using house style guides • Rigorous about meeting deadlines • Able to accurately fact-check references and medical information • Proficient with editing in Google Docs • Curious and willing to develop a working knowledge of 50-plus health conditions • Organized and able to track many assignments simultaneously Nice-to-haves • Experience with American Medical Association (AMA) reference formatting • Familiarity with project management software, such as Asana • Background in editing health or medical information • Spanish language fluency Benefits • Flexible work hours • Remote work opportunity • Competitive pay at $50 an hour Apply to this job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
