Job Overview

We are offering a 100% remote, full-time opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to work from the comfort of their own home. As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class customer service to our various lines of business, including student enrollment management, alumni placement verification services, and student loan counseling. You will handle inbound and outbound customer calls, provide clear verbal and written communications, and assist customers with repayment of their educational obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be highly productive and meet outbound and inbound telephone call productivity needs
  • Ability to use telephones, email, chat, and text communication with customers
  • Provide timely and professional response to all written communication
  • Properly utilize CRM system for technical inquiries with follow-up for customer resolution
  • Follow policies and procedures regarding escalations
  • Update records with current demographic and contact information and accurately notate all interactions
  • Comprehend training material on a variety of topics and share new concepts and content
  • Adhere to all federal and state laws governing the industry
  • Adhere to the client Statement of Work standards and company guidelines and policies
  • Attain all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals

Essential Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport through effective communication and timely follow-up with customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Must be a self-starter with a great degree of internal motivation
  • Ability to operate and navigate various technical devices and systems
  • Ability to trouble shoot common computer issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Knowledge of the Education FinTech industry or student loan repayment
  • Experience with CRM systems and technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with customers and provide timely and professional responses to their inquiries. You will also need to be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, are also required.
