About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support center, you will provide high-quality, first-line client service and technical support to our customers via telephone, email, chat, and personal interaction. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answering telephone calls, emails, and chats in a fast-paced call center environment, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Accurately documenting and processing customer claims in appropriate systems, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Following all required scripts, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions.
  • Utilizing knowledge base and training to answer customer questions accurately, resolving issues efficiently, and escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
  • Training end-users on how to use our software products and systems, ensuring they can maximize the benefits of our solutions.
  • Contributing to the achievement of customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs), focusing on first call resolution through effective problem-solving and call handling.
  • Attending meetings, training sessions, and reviewing new training material to stay updated on changes, ensuring continuous improvement in customer support delivery.
  • Occasional travel may be required for conferences or to visit customer sites, and occasional on-call or overtime evening hours, as well as weekend hours, may be necessary to meet the needs of our clients.

Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bilingual skills, including written and verbal communication, are preferred, enabling you to support a diverse customer base.
  • Experience working in a support center, preferably in a SaaS environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Background or experience within the childcare industry, particularly in subsidized childcare programs, is desirable, as it will help you understand the specific needs and challenges of our customers.
  • Familiarity with blithequark software is a significant advantage, as it will facilitate your onboarding and enable you to provide informed support from the outset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills are essential for effective customer interaction and internal collaboration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, coupled with a customer-focused mindset, will enable you to resolve issues efficiently and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with CRMs and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) is required, as these tools are integral to our operations.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in technical writing, training, or education is preferred, as it will contribute to your ability to create and deliver high-quality customer support content.
