Job Summary

As a Driver Helper and Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for loading equipment onto trucks, guiding the Customer Service Representative (CSR) to aircraft, and moving equipment from the truck to the aircraft galley. You will work closely with the CSR to ensure that all flights are catered to the highest standards, and that our customers receive an exceptional service. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Customer Service Representative (CSR) in catering aircraft, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are loaded and delivered safely and efficiently
  • Guide the CSR to aircraft, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the aircraft is serviced in a timely manner
  • Conduct quality checks on all assigned flights, ensuring that all meals and equipment are accurately loaded and delivered
  • Add or subtract meals for assigned flights as required, ensuring that all changes are accurately recorded and communicated to the CSR and other team members
  • Follow all customer guidelines and safety regulations, ensuring that the highest standards of service and safety are maintained at all times
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and concisely with colleagues and management to ensure that all operations are carried out smoothly and efficiently
  • Complete pre-trip truck inspections as directed, ensuring that all vehicles are safe and roadworthy
  • Perform additional duties as required, including completing paperwork and administrative tasks, and participating in training and development programs

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Up to one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the airline catering or hospitality industry
  • Current U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to read and write, and to complete required forms and documentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in the airline catering or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, including those related to food handling and transportation
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to 50 pounds frequently during shift
  • Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet or more, depending on aircraft type
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature changes and noise, and to adapt to changing weather conditions
