Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests. Your primary focus will be on new member sales, handling front desk related tasks, and ensuring that our members feel valued and supported throughout their fitness journey. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and meet potential members, providing a great customer experience that showcases our Judgement Free Zone philosophy.
  • Handle front desk related tasks, including answering phone calls, taking info calls and tours, and assisting with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member account information.
  • Facilitate member services issues and questions, and forward to the Club Manager or Team Lead as needed.
  • Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, ensuring that our facilities are always welcoming and well-maintained.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests, exceeding their wants and needs and creating a positive experience that drives loyalty and retention.

  • Customer Service: Communicates and interacts with customers (including coworkers and the public) in a way that exceeds their wants and needs, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Listening: Actively listens to customers, empathizes with their concerns, and works together to solve problems, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Problem Solving: Recognizes and defines problems, analyzes relevant information, encourages alternative solutions, and plans to resolve situations, seeking additional assistance when needed.
  • Diplomacy: Demonstrates tact and skill in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language to resolve conflicts and build strong relationships with our members and guests.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate questions, concerns, or issues to a supervisor in a timely manner, ensuring that our members receive the support they need to achieve their fitness goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Honesty and good work ethic, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with our members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to use our club management software and other systems to support our operations.

Physical Demands

  • Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift, with the ability to move around the club and engage with our members and guests.
  • Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time, with the ability to assist with light housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
