Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk - Typist to oversee and coordinate all data entry tasks for blithequark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of information into our systems, maintaining data integrity, and supporting other departments with their data needs. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential in managing multiple projects and ensuring smooth data operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare reports and visualizations to present findings to internal teams, supporting business decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and maintain and update dashboards for ongoing performance tracking.
  • Support other departments with their data needs, providing timely and accurate data to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure data integrity by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and identifying and resolving data-related issues effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (further education or certification in data management is a plus).
  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry, data management, or administrative coordination.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
    • Experience with data entry software and databases is preferred (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, computer science).
  • Experience: Experience working with data analytics tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Skills:
    • Experience with data visualization tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).
