Job Title: Project/Program Manager III Job Description We are seeking an experienced Executive Communications Contractor to join our organization from November 2025 to November 2026. The role involves developing and implementing strategic communications and engagement plans that promote the organization's vision and goals to global internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will create compelling content for executive communications, manage high-profile speaking engagements, and drive thought leadership opportunities. Responsibilities • Work directly with Senior Leadership executives and serve as an integral part of the Strategic Communications team. • Prepare executives for internal and external speaking engagements, including the creation of content for global meetings, video script writing, social media strategy, content creation, and execution of external-facing keynotes and thought leadership. • Collaborate closely with PR, Marketing, and Subject Matter Expert teams to align communication strategies and messaging. • Serve as a writer for senior executives, driving the creation and delivery of compelling executive-level messages and presentation materials, including slides, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories. • Manage the speaking engagement calendar with team members to ensure alignment of key messages both internally and externally. • Measure and share results of speaking engagements to evaluate impact. • Research and monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for enhancing executive communications. • Maintain excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels. • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Essential Skills • 7+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives. • Experience working within the business-to-business technology sector. • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to articulate a clear point of view on complicated issues in crisp, concise communications. • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. • Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders. • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with a global footprint. • Experience driving cultural change and influencing organizations through communications from audience and stakeholder analysis through implementation and success metrics tracking. Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, with a preferred location in Arlington, VA, or Seattle, WA, USA. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
