We are currently seeking a Leasing & Property Management Assistant to join our private network and work with a prominent US Real Estate management company. In this role, you will support the Head of Property Management in finding and vetting tenants for a portfolio of properties. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a broader real estate project management role, overseeing external contractors, maintenance technicians, and managing marketing materials from concept to execution. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in commercial real estate, including experience in leasing, sales, property maintenance management, and asset management. Responsibilities : • Respond to all inbound inquiries from prospective tenants in a very timely manner. • Answer questions for prospective tenants; inquire with our team for any answers you don't know. • Assist prospective tenants in scheduling their tours (coordinating with our touring team as needed) Follow up with prospective tenants after their tours. • Send application instructions to prospective tenants interested in applying to live with us. • Kick off background checks for prospective tenants and conduct reference checks. • Notify tenants once they're approved. • In general : Track all notes, progress, and prospective tenants in AppFolio • Ensure all our real estate listings are active and renew them as needed. • Assist with the creation of marketing content.
