Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and greeting customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Entering data into our database systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Entering data provided directly by customers, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Verifying data against original documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Retrieving data from database or electronic files as requested, and providing support to our team as needed
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after data entry to ensure that it is not lost and is archived properly
  • Maintaining a filing system, both physical and digital, to ensure that all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date
  • Performing other duties as required, and being flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, receptionist, or in a related field, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Accurate typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute, and experience with word processing and spreadsheet tools (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, including printers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Basic knowledge of databases, and experience with data entry software and systems
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, and experience with data visualization software
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, and knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Certification in data entry, administrative assistance, or a related field, and a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
