Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager II, Data Analytics to join our team of experts in driving business growth through data-driven insights. As a Senior Manager II, Data Analytics, you will be responsible for building and developing a team of analysis experts, establishing a data-driven culture, and driving business results through data analysis and interpretation. You will be a key player in shaping the future of our e-commerce and retail technology initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define key metrics and lead monitoring of these to measure product performance and ensure product safety
  • Leverage clickstream data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and inform product guides
  • Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, and pricing analysis to inform business decisions
  • Design and execute A/B tests, observational inference, and predictive analysis to identify and evaluate the impact of new product features
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and compelling data visualizations to communicate product-related insights
  • Combine data, experimentation, and analysis-driven insights to deliver actionable recommendations that address opportunities for product enhancements
  • Collaborate with product and business stakeholders across multiple geographies to proactively identify valuable opportunities, develop business acumen, and foster partner relationships
  • Effectively work with cross-functional teams comprising product, engineering, program managers, and data science to drive data-based decisions
  • Mentor and coach colleagues in achieving top-tier analysis results and handle multiple products and initiatives

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics, or economics)
  • 3+ years of experience working in e-commerce or consumer-centered technology organizations with a strong background in product analysis, data science, digital analysis, or e-commerce analysis
  • Proven experience in building and delivering analysis products and solutions in e-commerce and retail spaces
  • Strong ability to understand the business and excellent partner management skills, with a talent for storytelling and communication
  • Experience leading analysts in developing data analysis solutions and a strong passion for action, with a track record of using analysis to drive business impact
  • Technical skills to surface insights quickly, and the interpersonal skills to communicate those insights in a way that drives action

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with analysis tools for visualization, measurement, and experimentation (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Omniture, Statsig, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, Splunk)
  • Hands-on experience with multi-million record datasets using SQL-based querying languages (MS SQL, MY SQL, HIVE, Big Query)
  • Experience setting up and scaling experimentation practices
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis - descriptive as well as inferential (hypothesis testing) statistics and predictive analysis (clustering, regression, forecasting, NLP) to solve business problems
