About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of inbound phone calls, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with sales team members and other stakeholders to resolve customer challenges and ensure seamless issue resolution
  • Utilize computer systems and software applications to manage customer interactions, process orders, and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through active listening, empathy, and personalized support
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, services, and company policies to provide accurate and informative responses to customer inquiries
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a phone-based or remote environment
  • Ability to commute to our facility in Waterloo, IA, for training and occasional onsite work
  • A secure, dedicated workspace at home with stable internet connectivity (minimum 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds)
  • Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a hybrid or remote work environment
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management, order processing, and product identification
  • Experience working in a team-based environment with a focus on collaboration and mutual support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box

Compensation and Benefits
