About the Role

The Direct Channel Strategy and Activation (DCS&A) team at blithequark is dedicated to delivering robust customer experiences across engagement touchpoints. By leveraging strategy, data, and tools, we bring marketing to life. As a key member of the DCS&A team, you will be responsible for driving the day-to-day management and execution of direct channel campaigns, serving as a subject matter expert in the tools and data our team uses for activation, and providing mentorship and support to junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the everyday administration and execution of direct channel campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality results.
  • Build and orchestrate highly complex streams, leveraging your expertise in direct channel strategy and activation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive campaign activations, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
  • Perform quality assurance on campaigns as needed, identifying and resolving issues promptly to ensure campaign success.
  • Monitor campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders to optimize future campaigns.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation of our team's tools and processes to support onboarding and training initiatives.
  • Implement channel strategies that drive mission and channel best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in and lead special projects beyond campaign activation, contributing to the growth and development of the DCS&A team.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • 2+ years of direct experience in SQL, analyzing large datasets, performing selects, joins, investigating data issues, and validating audience segmentation.
  • Experience translating technical details and data insights into compelling stories and campaign visions for non-technical marketing partners, facilitating alignment through clear communication.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in campaign list selection cycles and campaign deployment capabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of complex data environments, social database philosophy, structures, and querying.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and problem-solve effectively across organizational teams.
  • Experience working with large organizations, navigating ambiguity while maintaining clear independent direction.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical colleagues, working independently to identify efficiencies that can be applied across the team.
  • Strong leadership capacity to mentor and support junior colleagues, with a strategic mindset that enables you to apply relevant direct channel strategies to all your work.
  • Intense attention to detail, with a strong client acknowledgment testing and quality assurance inclination.
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign Classic and Adobe Campaign Standard.
  • Experience building complex marketing streams using multiple direct channels.
  • Direct experience with Javascript, HTML, and CSS to conclude campaign deployment of emails.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a related field, such as marketing, data science, or business administration.
  • Additional experience in direct channel strategy and activation, with a proven track record of success in driving campaign results.
  • Certifications in marketing, data analysis, or related fields, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
