Senior DevOps Engineer

EIS is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in the Analytic team. The person will take full ownership of delivering high-performing, high-impact services and products as SaaS. The DevOps Engineer supports a variety of cloud-based infrastructure covering front-end websites, back-end APIs, serverless functions as well as deployment pipeline, establishing process of automating the data-driven cycle used by analytics data teams by creating an automated pipeline, improves the quality and security as well reduces the cycle time of data analytics.



Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of production pipelines, deployments, services
  • Deploy software to and maintain multiple environments from Development through Production
  • Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale deployments
  • Infrastructure to be created from code as per best practice and organized to be easily maintained and extended.
  • Service and flow orchestration
  • To devise useful metrics for ensuring their services are meeting customer demand  and having an impact and iterate to deliver and improve on those metrics in an agile fashion
  • GitOps-based software development lifecycle
  • Work closely with the analytics team to advise on the implementation Security



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Capable of performing sysadmin tasks
  • Docker, Kubernetes 
  • Jenkins
  • Azure, or AWS
  • GitOps, DevSecOps experience
  • DataOps experience
  • Scripting languages: Bash, Python
  • IaC: Terraform
  • SQL 
  • Git
  • Agile methods & tools like JIRA
Seen as an advantage
  • IAM (SaaS, Security, etc)
  • Familiarity with a variety of DevOps and DataOps tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible
  • DataOps experience, working with databases
