Senior DevOps Engineer
EIS is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in the Analytic team. The person will take full ownership of delivering high-performing, high-impact services and products as SaaS. The DevOps Engineer supports a variety of cloud-based infrastructure covering front-end websites, back-end APIs, serverless functions as well as deployment pipeline, establishing process of automating the data-driven cycle used by analytics data teams by creating an automated pipeline, improves the quality and security as well reduces the cycle time of data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of production pipelines, deployments, services
- Deploy software to and maintain multiple environments from Development through Production
- Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale deployments
- Infrastructure to be created from code as per best practice and organized to be easily maintained and extended.
- Service and flow orchestration
- To devise useful metrics for ensuring their services are meeting customer demand and having an impact and iterate to deliver and improve on those metrics in an agile fashion
- GitOps-based software development lifecycle
- Work closely with the analytics team to advise on the implementation Security
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Capable of performing sysadmin tasks
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Jenkins
- Azure, or AWS
- GitOps, DevSecOps experience
- DataOps experience
- Scripting languages: Bash, Python
- IaC: Terraform
- SQL
- Git
- Agile methods & tools like JIRA
Seen as an advantage
- IAM (SaaS, Security, etc)
- Familiarity with a variety of DevOps and DataOps tools like Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible
- DataOps experience, working with databases
