About the Role

As a Senior Engineer at blithequark, you will play a key role in providing a frictionless experience to our customers and maintaining the highest standards of protection and availability. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, interfacing with various teams such as Salesforce CRM, Infrastructure, Architecture, Release Management, Application Security, and Business Product Owners to develop and deliver critical solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
  • Build product definition and leverage technical skills to drive towards the right solution
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle, including testing
  • Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization
  • Define, create, and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspective
  • Utilize developer tooling and a variety of Azure tools and services across the software development life cycle
  • Mentor other engineers and consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#, including object-oriented design. You should also have a strong understanding of web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware integration tiers (Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot). Additionally, you should have experience using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and preferably Flutter and React.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Advanced understanding of DevOps Concepts and Cloud Architecture
  • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
  • Strong problem-solving ability and ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
  • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication, and testing)
  • Working experience in CI/CD, Git commands, GitHub source, Azure, and preferably enterprise integrations utilizing Event-Based Frameworks
  • Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle

Required Experience

You should have at least 4+ years of professional software development experience with at least two modern languages, including object-oriented design. You should also have 3+ years of experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems, 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service, and 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.

Desired Experience

Experience with Salesforce standard objects/records, custom object creation, validation rules, and relationships is highly desirable. Knowledge of building and configuring flows, and process builders, as well as experience with Salesforce Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Aura / LWC components, is also preferred.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $66,000.00 - $185,000.00, depending on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, and training.
