You'll work closely with institutional staff to identify and address financial aid compliance and operational issues, providing expert guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and institutions, and to be part of a dynamic and growing organization. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities** * Work closely with clients to identify and address financial aid compliance and operational issues, developing improvement plans to drive real change. * Conduct operational reviews and prepare comprehensive reports of findings, providing actionable recommendations for improvement. * Lead training sessions on financial aid issues, delivering expert guidance and support to help clients achieve their goals. * Create project plans and manage software implementation or configuration, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption. * Develop documentation of completed work, providing a clear and concise record of progress and achievements. * Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and expertise, driving continuous improvement and excellence. * Stay up-to-date with federal and state financial aid regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance to clients. **Key Skills and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, business, finance). * Five to seven years of progressive financial aid experience, with a strong understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues. * Experience with automation and major financial aid information systems, including Banner, CampusVue, Datatel, PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS, and other student information systems. * Proven ability to organize and deliver training, with a strong focus on quality and excellence. * Skilled user of Microsoft Office products, with experience in creating reports, presentations, and other documents. * Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to clients and colleagues. **Preferred Qualifications** * Three or more years of experience with Banner, CampusVue, Datatel, PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS, and/or other major student information systems. * Experience in financial aid operations, system improvements, and corrective action planning. * Strong knowledge of quality assurance and operational excellence principles, with experience in implementing and managing quality assurance programs. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, with a strong focus on quality and excellence. * Collaborative and supportive work environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement. * Professional development and growth opportunities, with a focus on helping you achieve your career goals. * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options and flexible hours. * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools, with a focus on innovation and excellence. **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced Financial Aid Consultant looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.
