As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:- Receiving and resolving up to 60 calls daily in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
- Interacting directly via phone with patients, affiliate partners, payers, and healthcare providers to address their concerns and provide guidance.
- Collecting payments and/or providing guidance on payment options for outstanding balances.
- Updating accounts with new or corrected information, requesting itemized statements, and re-billing claims when necessary.
- Explaining medical bills and identifying deductibles, coinsurance, copays, and other patient financial responsibilities.
- Utilizing analytical thinking for account research and reconciliation.
- Managing all interactions in a positive, caring manner.
- Performing specialized tasks as assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years' healthcare experience, preferably in medical billing and direct patient contact in a call center environment with exposure to insurance billing and medical terminology.
- Technical proficiency and advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Written/verbal fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
