Seasonal Application Reader - Remote

SUMMARY: Application reader will review undergraduate admissions applications, including academic transcripts, personal statements, resumes, and letters of recommendation. This person will make recommended decisions on both first-year and transfer student applications, utilizing Queens' application review rubric and standards. This is a fully remote position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Review a set number of admissions applications • Evaluate academic records and application materials • Score and recommend admissions decisions to be reviewed by a second reader Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required • Experience reviewing undergraduate admissions applications, preferably through a "holistic review" model • Strong attention to detail • Ability to review a lot of information and condense into digestible notes • Understanding of high school curriculum and academic indicators • Strong written communication skills • Ability to read quickly and effectively Application Process Does this sound like a good fit?
